For payroll checks: Direct Deposit needs to be set up with the payroll department of your employer. Your employer will need your account number and Rock Valley CU’s routing number, #271988388. To help you get started, download our direct deposit form and take to your employer.
For Social Security checks: Visit Go Direct, contact your local Social Security office or call our Member Contact Center at (815) 282-0300.

Early Pay direct deposit is exactly that. With direct deposit of your payroll or automatic ACH deposits, you can get access to your money up to two days* early. There is no fee for this service and if you are currently enrolled in direct deposit, you are automatically eligible for Early Pay. Members cannot decline or opt out of this service.
Your deposit will be posted as soon as the money is received. That means you could see the funds in your RVCU account up to two days* earlier than your co-workers or others receiving the same electronic deposit.
If you already have direct deposit, there is nothing to do but sit back and enjoy receiving your funds a little earlier! If you do not have direct deposit at RVCU, it is a simple process to start. A member of our Contact Center or branch staff are happy to assist. On average, it will take one to two payment cycles to switch your direct deposit to RVCU.
Your money is posted as soon as we receive it. However, the timing and availability of the funds may vary, depending on the payor (i.e., your employer or government agency)**.
