The Everyday Spend Account (formerly our Free Checking Account) features the same great benefits as before! Our decision to rebrand the account was fueled by our desire to better capture the essence of how you use your hard-earned money! The new name emphasizes the account’s role as a versatile tool that empowers you to manage your everyday expenses with the same convenience as before!
If your payroll or automatic ACH is enrolled in direct deposit, you can get access to your money up to two days* early. There is no fee for this service and if you are currently enrolled in direct deposit, you are automatically eligible for Early Pay. Members cannot decline or opt out of this service.
Your deposit will be posted as soon as the money is received. That means you could see the funds in your RVCU account up to two days* earlier than your co-workers or others receiving the same electronic deposit.
*Your money is posted as soon as we receive it. However, the timing and availability of the funds may vary depending on the payor (i.e., your employer or government agency). Some deposits may be received earlier than two days prior to scheduled credit. RVCU does not control payor processes and practice.

Savings Jar allows RVCU members to "round-up" debit card transactions to the next whole dollar amount. The sum of all rounded-up transactions are deposited into the savings account of your choosing nightly! Members have the choice to decide which checking accounts they want attached to the program.
When you open a checking account at RVCU you'll automatically be eligible to earn points with every purchase you make. Swipe your Visa debit card and earn points that can be redeemed for travel discounts, gift cards, or even CASH!
