Our Machesney Park branch is now offering Personal Teller Machines (PTMs) to provide members with a safe, convenient, accessible, and personal virtual banking experience. You are able to connect safely and virtually with a live teller during regular business hours without having to exit your vehicle. PTMs also serve as enhanced ATMs at all hours of the day and are available for use by members and non-members alike.

A Personal Teller Machine (PTM) represents the future of banking service. It always functions as a standard ATM, but has the ability to offer more personal or complex services through interactive video technology between members and a RVCU virtual teller. PTMs offer members the option to self-serve or handle your banking with the personal connection of face-to-face interaction with one of our team members – all without having to exit your vehicle. Non-members also will be able to use PTMs by accessing the ehanced ATM-only features.
PTMs are available 24/7/365 at our Machesney Park drive thru. A virtual teller will be available during regular business hours (Mon.- Fri. from 8 am - 5:30 pm) and you can access the enhanced ATM features any time of day.
Two-way video allows you to see and speak to the RVCU virtual teller and your conversation is just as private as if you were talking to a teller at our traditional drive thru.
Yes. Your transaction is processed the same way as a face-to-face transaction. For security purposes, all transactions are recorded.
You can do almost every transaction you typically do with a face-to-face teller. You can make account inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and cash checks. There are no forms to fill out.

Depositing cash is as easy as doing it with a teller inside our branch. No envelopes or forms are needed. You insert the cash directly into the deposit slot; the machine reads and counts each bill and displays the amount on the screen for verification. When depositing or cashing a check, you insert the check (or checks) into the deposit slot and an image of your check will appear on the screen. Then, you can decide what you’d like to do next - deposit, receive cash back, etc. Everything is displayed on the screen to ensure accuracy. At the end of your transaction, a reduced image of your check is printed on your receipt for proof of the amount deposited. If you cash a check that includes change, we will deposit the amount of change directly to your account and provide the whole dollar amount in cash.
The availability of your funds is handled just as it would be inside the branch office or at a traditional drive thru. If you are unsure about the availability of your money, press the help button at any time to speak to a virtual teller.

Yes, all Personal Tellers are employees of RVCU, working in Member Service at one of our locations in the Rockford area.
