Membership

RVCU membership eligibility requirements:

Live, work, worship or go to school in Winnebago County or the City of Rochelle.

Or “Immediate Family” of members/eligible members

Or “Household” of members

From NCUAs guidelines RVCU has defined “immediate family” rule as:

Anyone in the immediate family of an eligible member may join EVEN if the person eligible is NOT yet a member.

“Immediate family” is defined as, spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent or grandchild. Adoptive and step relationships are included.

Nieces/nephews are not eligible. Their parent (sibling to the eligible member) must join so that they would qualify under the child portion of this rule.

“Household” is defined as people living in the same residence or maintaining a single economic unit with an eligible member ONLY IF the eligible member ACTUALLY joins.

Household members include domestic partners, roommates, family members and legal guardian relationships. Excluded - temporary residents and residents of boarding houses, frat houses, and condo complexes.
